It's Still A Great Time To Buy - For Now...

Southwest Florida is still for sale at bargain basement prices - still being the operative word!  It's 2014 and there are still a few waterfront homes, condos, and building lots for sale for 75% less than when real estate prices peaked in 2006 but those deals are getting harder to find every day. Even so, savvy buyers can still get a lot for their money right now. In addition to a reasonable (but dwindling) supply of affordably priced high-end waterfront canal homes there are still over two hundred single family homes for sale throughout Charlotte County with asking prices of less than $100,000 and you can still find a few of them that are less than five years old. If you are an investor or you prefer to build your new home there are still a couple hundred descent vacant lots for sale for up to 95% less than their peak prices. Yes, they are still practically giving them away! And, there are still a few excellent building lots available right now for under $5,000 in subdivisions where they sold in the past for $60,000 to $100,000 or more - and most of these lots have public water and sewer, paved roads, all utilities, fire hydrants, drainage systems, parks and recreation areas, and community boat ramps with access to Charlotte Harbor and the Gulf of Mexico. You can live in a warm and sunny deed restricted community less than 15 minutes from Boca Grande, the Gulf beaches, and some of the finest boating and fishing on the planet. You will find plenty of shopping, restaurants and pubs, arts and entertainment, golf and tennis, and excellent medical facilities nearby. You will be close to two major international airports and fairly central to places like Fort Myers, Sarasota, Tampa, Miami, Key West, Naples, West Palm Beach, and Orlando just to name quite a few.
